Shine in Pearl is a bonus novella written by Seanan McGuire, available in text editions of A Killing Frost. It technically stands alone from the previous Lorden Shorts, but makes the most sense within the miniseries.
It provides background information on the relationship between Patrick, Dianda, and Simon.
I will be bright, and shine in pearl and gold.
