- When in doubt, cite it.
- Facts frequently mentioned in canon are the exception since they are commonly known to readers.
- The Luidaeg created Selkies from the pelts of the Roane.
- No citation needed. This has been repeatedly discussed since Book 5.
- The Luidaeg created Selkies from the pelts of the Roane.
- When possible, cite novel references down to the chapter level.
- Devin rescued the Luidaeg from being burned at the stake.[1]
- If the same reference is used multiple times, combine them on the References list.
- Neither Oberon nor Titania tried to stop Titania's children from killing Maeve's.[1]
- Cite external page references (social media posts, Wikipedia articles, etc.) with a hyperlinked URL.
- The Luidaeg's favorite Ben and Jerry's flavors include Phish Food and Honey I'm Home.[2]
- Avoid using a narrative citation format within the article
- Do not say, In One Salt Sea it is revealed...

Verb Tense[]
- By default, use present tense for articles, even for events that happen before the main timeline.
- Amandine saves Toby from being poisoned.
- The Luidaeg visits Amandine and young Toby and is horrified to discover what Amandine has done.
- Use past tense when referring to events that occur before the timeline currently being discussed.
- Toby learns from the Luidaeg that Amandine shifted the balance of her blood when Toby was a child.
