Folletti are a type of air fae who hail from the Cloud Kingdoms. They first appear in These Antique Fables.
About[]
Folletti are essentially a living piece of wind: they are clear and translucent in their visible state, but they can become invisible whenever they want. They only come to the land kingdoms to sell their services as guards and fighters to the highest bidder.[1] They are able to float easily above the floor. Folletti can also craft blades only usable by the Fae, changelings can't use them.

Mythology[]
“Folletto” is used in Italian as a generic term for any sort of imp, goblin, elf, or the like. There is also, however, a specific kind of Italian faery that is sometimes qualified as a foletto di vento or “wind sprite.” These are actually associated as much with farms as with wind and weather. They are short, agile trickster-figures, able both to fly and to become invisible. They tend to be destructive, mischievous if not outright malevolent.[3]
