The Duchy of Ships is an independent holding within the Saltmist territory of Leucothea. It is ruled by Captain Pete, also called Amphitrite. The Duchy of Ships has strict rules to protect its people and prevent political conflict on its shores.

The Unkindest Tide[]
The Luidaeg holds the Conclave of Consequences for the Selkies in the Duchy of Ships. Due to Pete's vow as a Firstborn not to interfere in fae politics, she leaves when Torin arrives to arrest Dianda Lorden and attempt to overthrow her as ruler of Saltmist. At the end of the convocation, Pete banishes the Luidaeg for seven years because the Luidaeg's actions led to breaking the peace.
