✥ In Rosemary and Rue, was hiding in Luna Torquill's Garden of Glass Roses when Toby entered. They talked a bit, the last thing he said was that Luna wanted him to fall in love with her daughter. It's why she gave him a huge vase filled with love-lies-bleeding and love-lies-dying and six kinds of love-in-idleness.[1] Toby encounters Connor at Goldengreen. He was sent by Sylvester Torquill to find her since he hadn't heard from her (even though Devin told her he called Sylvester). Lily suggested he might find her there. Evening showed Connor how to turn on the lights in case something happened. [2]

✥ By One Salt Sea Connor and Toby are lovers. He assists her, torn between his loyalties to the Under Sea and to Toby, in saving Gillian. He dies saving her life.
