Adhene are a species of land fae, known for ability to detect lies. They first appear in When Sorrows Come.
About[]
Only one Adhene has been seen, but they are short Fae who can taste lies. However, anyone who lies to them with intent will enrage an Adhene to the point where they'll find themselves killed by their hand. Although harmless, unconscious lies won't send an Adhene into a homicidal rage, it will however displease them greatly. Absalom, who was disguised as Fiac at the time, mentions that it's because of this that the Adhene were hunted down similarly to the Roane.
